Gayrettepe New Airport

The Gayrettepe–Istanbul Airport Metro Line is located in the northern part of Istanbul’s European Side, on an east–west axis.

All stations are connected with two main line tunnels, each with an inside diameter of 5.7 meters and a length of approximately 37.5 kilometers. The entire line is being built underground by EPB-TBMs.

TNL18 was involved with soil treatment, using the foaming agents ACTISOYL 20W, ACTISOYL CC and the polymer ACTI+ WW.

For tail sealing, ACTISEAL PS1 tail seal grease was used.

ACTISEAL MB mastic has been used to protect the main bearing.

During the execution of the Project, the permanent technical service offered by TNL18, as well as the hyperbaric solutions, were essential for the properly advance of the Project.
