Bessac and Soletanche Bachy, in consortium with Razel, built the “Sea Water Tunnel”, 5 km long, with an interior diameter of 3 m and a water height of 45 m. The objective of the tunnel is to transport hot water from the Gravelines nuclear plant to the LNG terminal for its regasification.
TNL18 was involved from the beginning of the works and carried out the soil treatment with the foaming agent ACTISOY WW.
It was essential to use the ACTI+ W0 polymer, which was of great help to extract the ground from the conveyor belt.
